It is a free event that offers food, live music, guided canoe trips, and guided walks. In addition there will be a silent auction, live demonstrations, and children's activities. The Festival will include an array of non-profit environmental exhibitors, a wildlife photography contest exhibit, a children's poster contest exhibit and much more. There are also year round opportunities for fishing, wildlife observation, photography, and environmental education. The festival is a unique opportunity to celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week, and to become more informed about the National Wildlife Refuge System.
